Patient Resources
As a courtesy and convenience, we’ve provided our new patient forms online. Feel free to print them off at home, fill them out when you have time, and then you can just drop them off with our front desk when you check in. If you prefer to fill out your paperwork in the office, be sure to arrive about 15 minutes early.
First-Time Patient?
When you visit our office for the first time, we will take necessary X-rays, do a tooth-by-tooth inspection, assess your gums, screen for oral cancer, and examine your bite.
You’ll also receive a thorough professional cleaning. If we spot any signs of trouble, we’ll discuss it with you. And if you have any questions or concerns, be sure to mention them to Dr. Gao or one of the team.
We’ll be sure you leave our office feeling confident and informed.
Digital X-Rays
We use digital imaging that outputs less radiation than traditional radiographic film. Digital imaging reduces the amount of radiation to the patient due to the sensitivity of the digital imaging sensors. Radiation exposure time can be reduced by 90%.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride supports healthy the outer protective layer of each tooth. It is especially helpful if you’re at high risk of developing cavities. Fluoride is usually applied at the end of dental cleanings.
Exams & Cleanings
During a dental exam, Dr. Gao will clean your teeth and check for cavities and gum disease. The exam includes evaluating your risk of developing other oral problems. A dental exam might also include dental X-rays or other diagnostic procedures.
Sealants
Sealant is a thin, plastic coating painted on the chewing surfaces of teeth to prevent tooth decay. Sealant quickly bonds into the depressions and grooves of the teeth, forming a protective shield over the enamel of each tooth.
Braces & Invisalign/ClearCorrect
Braces are used to straighten crooked teeth, align upper and lower jaws, improve the aesthetics of smiles and faces. We offer many options for orthodontics whether you are an adult or a child. Contact us for a free consultation.
Dental Implants
Millions of Americans suffer from tooth loss. For decades, your options were bridges or dentures if you were embarrassed about having a missing tooth. Nowadays, dental implants are available. Dental implants can be thought of as as artificial tooth roots, placed where your missing tooth was.
Dental implants look and feel like your own teeth. And because they are designed to fuse with bone, they become permanent. When cared for properly, dental implants can last a lifetime. Call now to find out more.
